School Operations Manager

Rocketship Public Schools is hiring a School Operations Manager (SOM) to oversee the essential operational functions of our school, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-functioning learning environment for students, staff, and families. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels in logistics, team management, and problem-solving.  The SOM plays a key leadership role in managing school-wide systems, supporting student and family engagement, overseeing compliance and safety procedures, and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. The SOM is the first point of contact for parents and students when they come to school, as well as a resource to the school community and should always exhibit professionalism, treat people with respect, and be firm but compassionate in how they address the day-to-day challenges of a rigorous and purposeful school.
SOMs are multi-talented leaders who build systems, oversee procurement and facilities maintenance, and uphold a consistent school culture that enables instructional staff to focus on teaching and learning. This role is an excellent opportunity for operationally-minded educators and school leaders looking to grow in school operations leadership.
 
The SOM reports directly to the Principal and manages a team of Operations Specialists.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
